Question : I have a lump on my back on the shoulder blade. I have had it for several years. Sometimes I don't feel it and it's small like a pea. There are also times when it gets a little bigger and is sensitive. The shape gets a bit more oval at that point. What could it be?
Brief Answer:
It could be Sebaceous cyst.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Please post the picture for better clarification.
As per your description, it could be a Sebaceous cyst.If it is infected, it becomes enlarged and painful.
I prefer to excise the entire swelling along its cyst wall when there is no infection. It can be done under local anaesthesia.
Please consult your doctor /General surgeon and proceed further.
Nothing to worry.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards

Thank you. Is there something I can do without surgery? A natural remedy?
Brief Answer:
It's better to get it removed.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am sorry to say that there are no natural remedies for this.
It's better to remove the swelling and send it for histopathological examination (Biopsy) for exact diagnosis.
Wish you good health.
