Question : My ten year old has had this mole on the side of his foot for as long as I can remember. His pediatrician tells me that there is nothing wrong with it. I just wanted to get a second opinion. Here is the picture.

He is XXXXXXX XXXXXXX just light skinned. Didn't know if nationality would help or not.

I have reviewed the attached photograph and the mole looks fine to me.
There is no need to worry.

If the mole shows sudden increase in size or change in shape and color or is associated with itching, oozing and bleeding then you need to get it evaluated.
