Question : Had a lump inside my armpit right at the top that goes up and goes down, when it's coming up i get a very light throbbing that lasts for a couple of seconds and goes away, had an ultra sound done and they susepect it's some kind of allergy reaction, had this for 2 1/2 yrs now and it's still there, I can go for months and months and it doesn't bother me and then it will start up I find that a hot compress and some salt on the area helps and the throbbing goes away? Shall I start taking anti histamine to see if that helps??

Brief Answer:
As detailed below.

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Noted your history well and understood the concerns.
Please give some additional information for me to assist you better:
- Age and gender?
- Please post the clear and focused photos as it helps for on-the-spot diagnosis in some cases.
- Is the eruption related to some food, additives, beverages, medicines or so?
- What is the size?
- Does it appear at the same spot?
- Does other part of the body develop similar lesions?

As per the history you have provided this certainly appears to be an allergic reaction.
Can be something like a fixed drug/allergen reaction - wherein the antigen -antibody complex gets fixed in the skin in a particular part of the body and gets instigated or enhanced on exposure to any instigating factor.
Another possibility can be Hidradenits.

Awaitin for your detailed feedback and photos.
