Question: Hi Doctor

i am male,33 with Acid Reflux Oesphagatis.
I have developed a lump on my right upper leg over the years but over the last 2 days I noticed some slight discomfort (mild pain).

I am worried that this lump could be a cancer growth or Abscess. Please confirm what it is and how it can be treated.

Brief Answer:
Infected lipoma/abscess...

Detailed Answer:
Hi Sabelo,

I have gone through the photo you sent in, and I can say that the lump on your right upper leg might be an infected lipoma or infected hair root (abscess).

I advise to consult with a general surgeon to remove it surgically and to take a course of oral antibiotics.

Hope it helped!
