Question : I have a pimple /bump on my scalp and it is only sore when I touch it. Since I am a black male and have a thick afro it is hard to dentify or tell if it is a mole or skin tag or what...I put alcohol on it and it burned for a moment.......

I would keep a possibility of a furuncle, which is a bacterial infection about the hair follicle with surrounding cellulitis.
A furuncle is usually painful, warm and tender when pressed or touched

I would like to know more from you regarding the query:

-How long has it been there?
-Do you use any hair products like hair oil etc?
