Brief Answer:
It is one of the best palliative treatment in cancer of the prostate .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for query .Based on the facts that your PSA is showing raising trend since last few months .

Looking at your age of 86 years with XXXXXXX score of 7 the Leuprorelin (Eligard ) is a safe medicine to keep cancer of the prostate and serum testosterone levels under control .

You have to monitor your serum PSA and Testosterone levels at frequent intervals and has to take injections every three months under supervision of medical Oncologist .

Have you discussed with your Urologist regarding efficacy combination of radiotherapy with Elegard .

Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions ,I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.
