Brief Answer:
Possibility of fungal infection

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.

I am Dr. Kakkar. I have gone through your query and I have understood it.

I would keep a possibility of fungal Infection/Tinea cruris for an Itchy, raised rash on buttocks.

I would be able to confirm my diagnosis if you can upload an Image of the rash.
Fungal infections are usually circular /semicircular / annular red raised scaly patches with central clearing and peripheral spread/extension. The margin is raised and may have bumpy surface.

I would suggest that you try an OTC antifungal e.g clotrimazole 1% cream, twice daily for 2-4 weeks

An OTC antihistamine e,g cetrizine 10 mg once daily would provide you symptomatic relief from itching.

Regards
