Question : I have had a red line above my anus for the last six months. I am not sure what it is. I was sharing anal sexual toys. Could it be i have scabies? I sweat a lot from taking Cytolopram and living in a hot country. Comes on mainly in the evening or after a work out. I have tried anti-fungal cream but only for a couple of days. Still not cleared up.

I went through your queryand report and understood your concern

Lesion in picture looks more of like a irritation of skin. Could be from sweating lot. Maintain good hygiene and use cotton inner wears and better to change it twice a day. Wash and sun dry your inner wears. you can use moisture absorbent powders.

lesion appears least likely to scabies , usually it will present itching over hands too.

My hands have been peeling recently and getting saw, but I put that down to stress and coming off Cytolopram.

I have used shared sex toys before in that region with a partner so wanted to be sure it wasn't that... But I live in a hot country, so the fact that it has been around for 6 months might be just because it is always hot and I am sweaty. Right?
