Dear dr. This is a pic of the mark 20 hours later. I had no tingle and its in a place where i dont get cold sores normally. What im worried about is that had no lesion and was performing oral sex on my girlfriend then istopped and we noticed this red mark with a dot in the middle. We stopped doing oral sex then. She gets oral cold sores herself but im concerned of what this is .

Brief Answer:
It is folliculitis
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dear Sir,
Single painless lesion located near the angle of mouth is unlikely to be Herpes or other STD. I hope the lesion is of short duration. It is likely to be follicultis.
I would suggest the following
1. Do not puncture or squeeze the lesion
2. Local Application of Combination of Antibiotic like Mupirocin and steroid like Mometasone will help
3. Oral Multivitamin supplement
Take Care
