What Does A Red Spot On Nose Indicate?

Question: my wide has a small red spot on her nose for months. it appears and disappears in random intervals. sometimes it is filled with clear fluid. and when she scratches it open it starts bleeding. see image. she is concerned it might be cancer

I can understand your concern for the red spots on the nose of your wife.

After Analyzing the picture let me first and foremost reassure you that the condition is not at all related to any sort of skin cancer or anything else related to any type of cancer.

It is simple age related senile spots which are commonly seen in different colors especially on face and nose area.

I can see that the area is scratched a lot and therefore and appears more red.

Do let me know if she is taking any medications for any other health condition. Also let me know the severity of itching and extent of exposure to sunlight.

That's really a great news to hear No for all the important factors.

I can make out that she is either touching the area or scratching the area due high are anxiety state. Let you reassure her fully that the condition is very simple age related thing has got no relation with any type of skin cancer.

Therefore ask and guide her no to touch or pinch or pop the area. As more touching and pinching can cause more redness.

The mild eruption are the blocked oil glands so do not worry about these also.

Ask her to eat a lot of vitamin A contains fruits such as papaya and tomatoes to get a natural protection.
