Question : Hi,
I feel a very small lump on my neck on the right side. It is half way between my head and ear. Straight line from my right ear lobe.. I was wondering if it's cause for concern. I have no other symptoms but am also a hypochondriac. Thanks.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I am Dr Mittal. I have read your message. I think I can help you.
Most often , the cause of such swelling is a lymph node.
The most common cause is some small infection.
I think it would be prudent to wait and watch it for a week.
If it persists go ahead for a FNAC.
Meanwhile, test a ultrasound of the node and get a CBC.
I have tried to make it as simple as possible. I hope that the information contained in this message will be able to help you find the best solution for your problem. Best of luck. Dr Mittal
