Question : I have a small sore at base of my penis , not sure if syphilis or from dry masterbating, I have always used a condom but its at the base of my penis and Ive been under stress thinking I might have caught sypllis then it appeared

Hello. Thank you for writing to us

I am dr.kakkar (dermatologist and venereologist). I have viewed the images.
This could be an STD i.e either genital herpes or syphilis.
I suggest you to take a screening test for these. You may go for an HSV DNA PCR from the sore and a VDRL blood test.
How long since you have noticed this ulcer and when was your last sexual contact?
