What Does A Soft Stool With Fat Like Deposits Indicate?

Inflammatory bowel disease or protozoal infection can be a possibility.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Inflammatory bowel disease or protozoal infection can be a possibility. In case of inflammatory bowel condition you may have other symptoms like abdominal pain or bloating and worsening of condition by certain foods. Protozoal infections like giardiasis can give soft fudge like stools and fat like deposits also. Gastritis or peptic ulcer can give coffee bean colored stools due to blood from upper GI tract. But in case of that also there will be associated gastric discomfort or pain.
Initially a stool routine should be done to rule out these. Deworming with drugs like albendazole should be done. In case of malabsorption syndrome like giardiasis antibiotic therapy with metronidazole followed by probiotics will help.
Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.
