What Does A String-like Thing From Rectum Indicate?

Question : I had a string-like thing come out of my rectum. it was extremely long, didn't seem to break (not sure). I am having some pain in my adomen. I had worms in my appendix over 40 years ago. what exactly is it. should I be concerd?

The string like thing is likely to be roundworm ( Ascarias Lumbricoides)
There is nothing alarming.
Empirical treatment with Albendazole 400mg single dose will be crative.
