Question : my husband can breathe but just before supper he can;t swallow and says something is stuck in his chest. what do i do?

Inability to swallow and feeling of something stuck in the chest may indicate some obstruction in the food pipe.
Taking these symptoms and his age in to consideration I would suggest an upper GI endoscopy test to look for obstruction in the foodpipe.

You can discuss with his gastroenterologist for this test.
