What Does A Sudden Onset Of Stammering Issue In A Child Suggest?

Question: My child is 2.10 year old, he used to speak quite fluently and normally.
Since yesterday morning when he woke up, he started stammering a little bit.
First or second word of his sentence, he stammers.
No other symptoms, no fever nothing absolutely normal.
I am worried as a parent. Please advice if there is any worry and whom to consult.

Brief Answer:
He probably is imitating someone as it has started suddenly.
Detailed Answer:
Hi...such sudden onset of stammering could be the result of imitation. What I mean to say is that the kid might have seen somebody doing it in his peers circle or play school or in the neighboring kids.
This is age is too young to understand the implications of it.
Smoothly talk him out of it and encourage him by giving toffees of small toys if he talks normally.
If you tell him sternly, he might increase it.
If you can find out from whom he has seen it - then try to avoid the company.

Thanks Doc for your response.
I want to rule out any possibility of any brain related thing, should i consult with a Neurologist or an ENT first.
Kindly advice
We have checked out, he is not involved with any such company and doesn't seems to imitating any one.
Not sure if we should see an ENT (Could be something related to throat or tonuge)
or could be brain related (Neurologist)
Kindly advice, whom should we reach out to. We are really worried.
