What Does A White Mole On Thigh Indicate?

Question : I have a white mole in my right thigh. My entire thigh hurts. This mole feels like a thorn is sprouting from my thigh. It is growing from just a feel, to a visible, about 1 cm. up from the skinf. Its diameter is about 1/2 cm. I have a numb pain in my thigh, especially during my daily 1 hr. long walk. Should I see my doctor? I am a very fair skin Hispanic 60 yr. old female. Thank you!
