Brief Answer:
Stone in bile duct can be the reason.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Can you please mention where is the pain located? Does it radiate anywhere? Do you have any nausea, vomiting? What is your urine and stool color?
The most probable reason of your symptoms is a stone in bile ducts. Especially if the gallbladder was removed due to stones.
You should have liver tests done as well as GGTP, AP and Bilirubin test. ERCP test (endoscopic procedure) should be considered as well.
I suggest you to consult gastrologist.

Hope this helps.
Regards.
