Brief Answer:
MRI is showing perinatal insult changes.

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks for your question.
I can understand your concerns.
In my opinion your child has developmental delay due to perinatal insult which may have occurred antenatal or at birth time and may have gone unnoticed.
In my opinion you should get a developmental assessment of your child and start the early intervention therapy and neurodevelopmental therapy for your child so that she achieves her developmental milestones.
Brain has plasticity up to three years of age. So it is possible to make new connection in brain up to three years of age.
Do not waste time in starting the therapy.
It is difficult to say whether your child will be normal at present stage. Everything depends on how she responds to the therapy.
I would like to know what medications has the doctor given you.
I hope I have helped you
I any queries please feel to ask.

Brief Answer:
yes, get MRI spine

Detailed Answer:
Hi, Thanks you for your reply.
The medicines given by your doctor are vitamins and enzymes for brain development. Please continue it.
In my opinion you should also get an MRI done of the spine so that it will be clear that the lesions are in the brain only or involving the spine also.
Neurodevelopmental therapy is a type of physiotherapy where the child is assessed and treated for the achievement of his developmental milestones. e.g. if the child does not have achieved head holding and sitting then first child is taught head holding. The child is handled according to the body tone whether hypertonia or hypotonia.
You need to see a Developmental paediatrician. He will do a developmental assessment for the child and will advise you regarding the therapy. Also you can do stimulation program at home. Like talking to the child, interaction with the child, encouraging the child for visual following, reaching for the toys etc.
Again I would like to say that it depends on how your child responds to the therapy.
If you have any queries please feel free to ask

Brief Answer:
Take your child to physiotherapist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thank you for asking.
1) Continue the vitamins and supplements given by your doctor. No need for any other medicines at present.
2) There is no urgency for the MRI of spine, you can get it done after two months
3) Take her to a physiotherapist who is expert in handling paediatric cases. Start the neurodevelopmental therapy with the physiotherapist.
4) For neck holding, put her in the prone position in your lap allow her to lift her head. Put her in prone position on the ground on a mat and show her some toys to encourage her to lift her head. Putting her on a therapy ball prone will alos promote head holding.
4) Show her some toy in front of her. If she does not try to reach for it, bring her hand in the mid line and give her the toy. If she does not take it to her mouth then give it her in her mouth.
5) Her handling in general will depend on the tone of her body whether she is hypotonic or hypertonic. Your physiotherapist will be able to guide you regarding this.
You child will definitely show improvement with the therapy
I hope I have helped you.
Thank You
