Brief Answer: Black indicate Air Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for your query. Black indicate air , white indicates the fluid like blood, water etc. Grey is due to the organs. Bones too appear white in a CT scan. Spots other than normally expected may have to be studied well to rule out structural defects. regards,
