What Does Black Vaginal Blood Clot From Vagina In Pregnancy Indicate?
Question: Dear madam, I had two times of miscarriage happened earlier. After third times pregnancy reading of sonography result, doctor told baby is good and normal. he advised to take one Enoxaparin 40ml and one injection Lonopin -40 for 7 months. however, after taking one Enoxaparin on the date of doctor advice little of black clot blood passed out. Because doctor advice me just one day before, lonopin - 40 injection could not be injected due to non availability. So I have to wait only one day after doctor advice for Lonopin - 40. All these happened with 12 hours of sonography and doctor's advice. Can you kindly suggest me or advice me is that black blood clot is due to miscarriage or for taking enoxaparin40?? Pls infor me immediately.

My Gynecologist informed me that black clotted blood isn't result of threatened abortion. if blood is red it will be threatened abortion. he advice me to keep injection if red blood comes out. Well i like to know whats may be the other possibilities of black clotted blood coming out other than abortion.

Yes abortion is mostly fresh red blood .
But it depends on site of bleed especially if its behind the placenta then it will not come out immediately but just clot and then ooze
Also yes heparin is a drug which increases bleed so that also can be a cause.
Even then it will be called a threatened abortion .
