What Does Blood In Urine After A Spider Bite Suggest?

Hemolysis and acute renal failure should be ruled out in the E.R
Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome
I appreciate your concern
Hemolysis and acute renal failure should be ruled out. Based on the hematuria ( blood in urine) history, an E.R visit is a must to assess for complications due to the spider bite. RFTs, Urinalysis, CBC, clotting profile should be done to determine stability of the patient. If available and possible, the spider should be brought to the doctor's office as it could help greatly in identity confirmation of the spider. Ice application, elevation of the bite site above the heart level, Water and soap should be used to wash the area adequately. Exertion should be avoided as this can spread the spider's venom in the skin. Tetanus immunization should be done by giving a Tetanus.Toxoid booster dose. Antihistamine should be given and antibiotics should be considered if the wound is expected to experience a secondary bacterial infection. Steroids and Dapsone are reserved for people with severe systemic symptoms.
Wishing you best of health
Thanks
