What Does Blood In Urine With Backache Indicate?

Question: Hi. I started hurting in my back on one side a couple of weeks ago. Then notices a little blood in my urine. The pain is subsiding aliitle, but now passing quite a bit of blood. What does this usually mean?

Brief Answer: you can be having a kidney stone Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for writing to HCM. Your symptoms are very much suggestive of kidney stone. You need to get an ultrasound of your abdomen done along with a routine urine test. Further management will depend upon the location, size and number of stones. Hope, i have been helpful.
