Question : I have a burning sensation in my vaginal area.
Brief Answer:
??? bacterial vaginosis
Detailed Answer:
Hello
thanks for the query to HCM,
The burning sensation in vagina if not in urine may indicate a probable vaginal infection likely bacterial vaginosis which may be accompanied with thin homogenous vaginal discharge and foul smell.
If there is a thick curdy white discharge and itching also present then it is likely to be a yeast infection. In either case a high vaginal swab for culture is mandatory to isolate the organism and then direct the treatment accordingly. please visit your physician for a per speculum exam and a high vaginal swab test.
