Brief Answer:
X ray findings are suggestive of impending heart failure.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX Hi & Welcome to HCM.
I appreciate your concern for your beloved father.

Can you please provide the following details about your father:

1. Is he having shortness of breath, breathlessness during sleep, swollen ankles, or chest pain and for how long?
2. Is he suffering from heart disease, high BP, diabetes, etc.
3. Has he taken any medications?

Although the chest x ray findings given are indicative of impending heart failure, however these findings have to be clinically correlated.

Looking forward to receive the requested details.

Best regards.

Brief Answer:
Kindly check the details given below:

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Well he seems to be having mild type of heart failure.
He needs to be examined by a physician or cardiologist for further clinical examination and tests like ECG, Echocardiography, and blood tests.
Drugs like loop diuretic or ACE inhibitor would be beneficial in relieving the symptoms of heart failure.

Hope the suggestion given above could be useful in getting him treated.

Best regards.

Thank u sir?? What about basal congestion in lungs??
doctor
Answered by Dr. Mohammed Taher Ali (2 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Basal lung congestion is due to collection of fluids.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your kind reply.
Basal lung congestion reflects the accumulation of fluids as a result of heart failure. With the use of diuretics the congestion will also subside and hence the symptoms of breathlessness.

Hope this could answer your query.
Best regards.
