Brief Answer:
Needs work up and clinical correlation

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking

I read your question and i understand your concern. For women who aren't breastfeeding, the sight of nipple discharge can be alarming. But if you notice discharge from your nipple, there's no reason to panic. While nipple discharge can be serious, in most cases, it's either normal or due to a minor condition.

Nipples may secrete fluid when they are stimulated or squeezed. Normal nipple discharge may also occur when your nipples are repeatedly chafed by your bra or during vigorous physical exercise, such as jogging.

This discharge could also be attributed to the prednisone use of yours. As prednisone suppresses the pituitary and cause hormonal imbalance and may lead to galactorrhea and other hormones imbalance and may present with discharge. But usually chronic use is mor elikely the case.

Other possibilities for the discharge are
Abscess
Breast cancer
Breast infection
Ductal carcinoma in situ (DCIS)
Excessive breast stimulation
Fibroadenoma
Fibrocystic breasts
Galactorrhea
Hormone imbalance
Injury or trauma to the breast
Intraductal papilloma
Mammary duct ectasia
Medication use
Menstrual cycle hormone changes
Paget's disease of the breast
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Prolactinoma

I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Can I take B6 to help lower prolactin
doctor
Answered by Dr. Shafi Ullah Khan (3 hours later)
Brief Answer:
B6 is not for prolactin

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back to me

You may take B vitamin complex for nutritional values but they have little role in reducing high prolactin levels. If those are confirmed you will need some dopamine agonists like bromocriptine etc. B 6 or any other vitamin does not help that.

I hope it helps.
