What Does Dark Colored Urine Indicate?

Question: I woke up this morning and when I urinated, I noticed it was dark. Again in the afternoon the same. An hour ago, I decided to catch the urine in a clear glass and it was the color of tea. I am concerned. I have no other symptoms.

Thanks for your query,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you have noticed colour of your urine to be dark .

In absence of any urinary symptoms dark colored urine is mostly due to your urine being concentrated ,The reason of concentrated urine is mostly due to less consumption of water.

Please get your routine urine test done to know the specific gravity and any other abnormality to rule out infection or blood in urine..

Ensure to drink more water to keep your urine dilute.
