Now everything improved but WBC fell to 1600 critically low level. tomorrow we have consultation with local Oncologist. Please advise its impact and how to ensure to improve WBC.

Brief Answer:
maybe because of treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Did she receive any chemo? Because that can cause fall in wbc. Otherwise, I would like to know for how long she is receiving rituximab and steroids.

One possibility is that though her wbc was high, it was mostly lymphocytes and neutrophil percentage was very low. Now the lymphocytes have died due to treatment, so she is left with the original very low neutrophils.

In that case, giving some injection lime gcsf can raise the neutrophil count. Low neutrophil for long time predisposes to infection.

Hope this helps.
Regards
