Lymphocytes are increased in chronic infections
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
In a complete hemogram, the parameters which are beyond the limit considered to be normal for a given population are labelled as 'flagged'.
This implies that particular variables are abnormal or beyond the normal range.
Lymphocytes are one of the white blood cells.
They are elevated in chronic diseases.
Thus, an elevated percentage of lymphocytes in blood indicates presence of chronic infection.
MCH is one of the red cell indices.
Other indices are MCV and MCHC.
MCH is the investigation done to assess the amount of hemoglobin in red blood cells.
A level of 31.3 is in the upper range however, not abnormal.
The red cell indices are best assessed together and have little value when assessed in isolation.
If you have more queries, I will be glad to answer.
