Brief Answer:
13mm is normal if you are expecting your menses shortly!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about these findings on ultrasound and all the inconvenience this has caused you. Unless you have worrisome issues, this thickness is normal for someone who is just about to have her menses. If you have any problems, then let a sample be obtained and sent to the laboratory for analysis. There is no better time in identifying any problem then when it is at its early stage. Even if this was to be a disease, though very unlikely, the chances that there would be a complete and straight forward cure are certainly very very high.

Keep calm. Why are you crying? What matters is following up and getting this clearly mapped out and treated accordingly. When was the last time you had your menses? If your menses come any time soon, please ask that they control the ultrasound after this so that you can compare the changes and see what has happened.

I hope this help. I wish you well. Thank you so much for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
