Question: Recent sono showed diffusely enlarged heterogeneous hypoechoic thyroid w/ interpolar parenchyma scattered in lobes. Multinodular goiter measuring 7.6 cm. All tsh, t3, t4 labs are within range. Can't get an earlier appt before 4weeks. Should i be concerned?

Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
this most likely represents a multinodular goiter and I don't think you need to be seen any sooner than four weeks. I would review all of the findings with an endocrinologist. Most likely this will be something that is followed overtime.

Thank you again for sending your question. If you have additional specific concerns we can also discuss those.
