Thanks for the query.
I have read your query and understand your concern.
I presume you are telling the reading as 9.6 mmol and not as HBAIC ( 9.6 ).
A value of 9.6 mmol of sugar means a value of blood sugar level as around 173 mg/ dl
To interpret this result we should know the precise time of blood sample tested.
If this value is a fasting reading,then it is a confirmed diabetes,but if this reading is 2 hours after your breakfast,then you are having imparted glucose tolerance ( IGT )
IGT means that you would land up with XXXXXXX diabetes sooner or later,if precautions are not taken.
You must consult your doctor and get your blood sugar levels ( fasting as well as PP ) done to know the exact status of your blood sugar.
