                                            Question : Hi. Age 46. Mammogram 8 months ago. Did have 2 cysts checked by ultrasound and all ok. Now with pain under right nipple. I do know my mammogram said I have moderately fibrocystic breasts. I am very scared and shaking.

There is nothing to worry dear as it is common to have such non specific pains in case of fibrocystic disease.
Caffeine cutting can be helpful but in general these cysts disappear only after menopause and till then such minor complaints can be left at one side but still yearly mammograms are worth.

yes. it is not cancer. fibrocystic disease is not a precancerous lesion . it will subside on its own after menopause . there is protective role of folic acid so u can start Folic acid 5 mg one tablet daily . All the best . regards .
