Brief Answer:
You can take safely 25 mg of lopressor to ease the discomfort and to lower.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query and understood your concern.

You shouldn't worry to much about HR spikes 100-110 bpm. Apart some discomfort they wouldn't cause any damage to you. However you can take safely 25 mg of lopressor to ease the discomfort and to lower HR. Moreover you should learn to control anxiety with breathing techniques which will help to control HR also.

Wish you health!

one last question. Will the daily dose of lopressor still allow beats of 65-90. i think i am nervous seeing the range. even sitting it goes from 70-85. is this normal and i am paying to close to the rates. i never in 48 years checked my pulse rate. im almost obsessed about it.

Brief Answer:
Don't be obsessed with your HR...

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

The daily dose of lopressor may be increased to control HR between 55-110 BPM. If the HR exceed 120 bpm on exercise or stress you should increase the dose. However you should discuss this with your treating doctors.

My advice is to be relaxed and don't be obsessed with your HR for the moment it within accepted limits.

Wish you health!
