No swelling, itching,minor pain with cramping. Taking cyclobenzaprine 10 mg only as needed, ibuprofen 800 mg. as needed. I'm careful not to over due it on the pills. no long term or overuse.

Unexplained hair loss over a single limb surface should be worked up. Poor/inadequate circulation is a possibility. Doppler (Arterial plus venous) of the affected limb can be advised to look for patency of the vessels.
Diabetes, Peripheral arterial disease and thyroid disease can lead to such a presentation.
Thyroid function tests, HBA1c levels (if fasting and random blood sugars are deranged) and Doppler studies can be advised. Cellulitis should be looked for clinically and treated with antibiotics accordingly.
Please consult your doctor before deciding on any further course of action.
