What Does Heavy Bleeding After A Positive Urine Pregnancy Test Result Indicate?

My last LMP was Nov 17th, 2014. After my first missed period i took the pregnancy test which was positive. But on 10Jan 2015 there was discharge of blood and tissues which only lasted for 3 days. First day was heavy but the next 2 days was light and normal. I thought i have miscarraiged. But yesterday following the symptoms i took a blood HCG test and the observed value was 135,155. Does that mean I am still pregnant?
USG is confirmatory
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to healthcaremagic.
I understand your concern.Iam sorry for your condition.
In my opinion bleeding after positive urine pregnancy test mostly might suggest abortion. There are different kinds of abortion like:-
1)Threatened abortion-Here there is just spotting once or a few times .But with apt care pregnancy continues normally.Mostly it occurs due to hormonal imbalance and excessive stress and strain.
2)Incomplete abortion-Here heavy bleeding occurs but still some of the products are retained inside which needs to be evacuated. Here there is no chance for pregnancy continuation.Hormonal imbalance like thyroid abnormalities or progesterone insufficiency and stress might be the cause.
3)Complete abortion-Here heavy bleeding occurs with no remnants inside. Here also same above causes lead to this. And no chance for pregnancy continuation.
4)Missed abortion-Here abortion occurs inside but no signs and symptoms are seen.
But the type of abortion is confirmed by ultrasound. So you might need to get an ultrasound to diagnose the condition.
As your LMP was Nov17 at this gestational age HCG level should be peak like 200 IU/ml .As yours is 135 or 155 mostly there might be some problem.
Even after abortion HCG levels decrease slowly so we can't tell the pregnancy status depending on it.
So dont worry.Consult the doctor and get an ultrasound done for diagnosis.
Hope this satisfies your query.

HCG test is not used to confirm
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I saw your report.
In my opinion the report value is corresponding to 5 to 6 weeks.
But we cannot come to conclusion by seeing this report.
So this report might not be helpful.
As I explained in your previous query Ultrasound is only used to confirm.
Hope this satisfies your query.
