What Does High TLC Count Indicate?

Question : Hi.I have high TLC count that is 15000.Can it possibly indicate HIV positive.Although i have got my HIV testdone.reports are due XXXXXXX My CBC report came this shows high TLC.Can it indicate HIV positive.My hb is 14.I am a female.All sugar,kidney,liver test are normal.

Increased Total Leucocyte is not an indicator of present or past HIV infection.
Increased leucocyte count is usually seen in bacterial infection,whereas viral infection usually causes fall in leucocyte count

Dear Dr,
Thanks for your answer.My hb is 14,my sugar,kidney,liver,urine test are all absolutley normal.Infact my CBC is normal except the TLC.What i understand from your answer in case if a person is HIV infected whatever stage the TLC counts are usually lower and not higher.

Dear Dr,
My HIv report is negative..not being exposed to any sexual intercourse or something..but i am really worried about high WBC count..What test should be followed to know the exact reasons of such elevated WBC count

2. Did you suffer from any recent febrile illness . Recent febrile illness could be cause of elevated leucocyte count.
