Brief Answer:
You should!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this elevated levels of TPO. This points to autoimmune disease of the thyroid. Am curious and will like to know what the TSH, T4 and T3 hormone levels was. This will shed more like on whether it is a full blown thyroid disease or not. It may also point the need for hormonal supplements or not.

Prednisone is not a big NO in pregnancy. As long as it is needed, it is recommended to use it. For how long have you been taking this drug and has there been any followup test to see what the levels of TPO are?

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
