What Does High Potassium Levels Indicate?

Question: I have just received a message from my Dr (who does not work after hours) advising that the path lab doing a routine (fasting) blood test this morning that my potassium levels are high and she advised me to hospital. Pls adv what the symptoms of hi pot levels are, and how soon should I go to hospital (it is now 8.30PM Sat.
