It means that you have an autoimmune disease of the thyroid gland called Hashimoto thyroiditis.
Your body produces these antibodies that destroy the thyroid gland. Once more than 80% of the gland is destroyed by these antibodies the thyroid gland does not produce enough hormones and you neee to take it orally.
So you need to keep monitoring the thyroid function ( TSH, Ft4 and FT3) and start levothyroxine when TSH is increased.
