Posted on Wed, 1 Feb 2017
Question: Hi - I would like to speak to a gynaecologist but not sure how this works, i have concerns in the appearance of my vagina and id like to be able to send through a private photo for an opinion. I am having no sensation in my clitoral area and it feels like there is extra skin in that area. Can you please advise how I can ensure the photo i send through it completely secure.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply. Im new to this so always worries me uploading something so personal, but I've uploaded 2 photos. Hopefully you can see what I mean, one side is higher than the other and under my clitoral area it feels like there is a line of skin and feels like my clitoras has disappeared or moved - everything just feels wrong?

Thank you

Brief Answer:
Visit a gynaecologist

Detailed Answer:
Hello Mam, I have seen the attached report and I feel it is not a normal anatomy (there seems to be band) and definitely you need to get it examined from a gynaecologist for further evaluation. I request for a clinical evaluation because it's difficult to figure out whether or not the connecting band is tough and vascular. Gyecologist might find the connecting band too tough to be left in situ or too vascular to be cut. This all can be judged on examination only.

Also she might ask you to pass urine and see the interference with urine stream so as to decide if it needs to be cut or not.

Hope I am clear. I will be available to answer further questions if any.

Take care
