Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
The slight bleeding that you had can be due to an implantation bleeding or a lighter than usual period due to mild hormonal disturbance.
Since the pregnancy test was negative there is no need to worry. You can further confirm it by getting your serum beta HCG levels evaluated.
Your next periods are likely to be normal. In case they are also missing then you can start with a birth control pill after consulting your gynecologist to have regular periods.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
Dr. Rakhi Tayal.

The test would have shown pregnancy.
Detailed Answer:
Yes. Pregnancy would have shown up in the test. You are not pregnant. Hormonal imbalance is likely.
Regards.
