Question : Dr wants a medical CT scan max/face without contrast for evaluation of possible pathological cyst or tumor in the lower left mandible tooth 17 area, what does this mean I am scared

Cyst is a pouch of tissue and CT scans are adviced for larger cysts. First of all, don't be worried its just a diagnostic aid and needed for better interpretation. He might need to check the type of cyst, so asked to get it done.
