Brief Answer:
More of a warning sign, you should make some lifestyle changes

Detailed Answer:
Hello ma'am and welcome.

Thank you for writing to us.

I have gone through your query with diligence and would like you to know that I am here to help. Atherosclerosis is a condition in which plaque builds up within blood vessels resulting in occlusion of the arteries (causing their narrowing) and thus reduction in blood flow and delivery causing serious repercussions like infarctions, hypoxia, angina, etc.

The plaque that builds within the arteries in atherosclerosis is what was seen in major arteries like the abdominal aorta, etc. These are usually caused due to:

+High cholesterol intake
+Poor lifestyle
+Low levels of exercise or physical activity
+High intake of fatty, oily, fried food
+Obesity
and a few other causes.

I would recommend the following:

+Medications to help control cholesterol levels (e.g. statins)
+Increase exercise and/or physical activity
+Reduced stress levels
+Weight loss
+TLC diet (consult a nutritionist for this)

Usually there is a small amount of age-related deposition, but for this I would recommend a change in lifestyle to help live a longer and healthier life. Currently this is not dangerous, but is more like a warning for future serious events that can be deterred. Please also feel free to write back to me for any further clarifications, I am always here to help.

Best wishes.
