What Does My CT Scan Test Report Indicate?

A little background, I am a 38 year old female born with a complete av canal defect repaired in childhood. I have Atrial fibrillation, atrial flutter, unspecified ventricular tachycardia all of which are controlled with an ICD as I am allergic to beta blockers, calcium channel blockers and most antiarrhythmic's. I also have both right sided and left sided diastolic dysfunction with pulmonary hypertension. My platelets have been slightly low for a couple of years as well as my red blood cells. I've been experiencing upper right quadrant pain for a few years which led my doctor to suspect my gallbladder. I've been nauseous and also have had quite a lot of acid reflux. The ultrasound showed a slightly enlarged spleen but not any gallbladder or liver issues. I have also had a high alkaline phosphatase test. I do not drink alcohol as it exacerbates my condition.
I know I will need a biopsy however how likely is it that I have cirrhosis?
Needs work up to confirm
Detailed Answer: XXXXXXX you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. Enlarged liver with nodular pattern is suggestive of cirrhosis. It will need fibrosure scans, biopsy to confirm. Also thorough work up both metabolic profile and complete liver etiologies need to be sorted out to reach the cause. Pulmonary hypertension and right heat failure may give congested nutmeg liver pattern in liver and may present like nodularity and be confused with cirrhosis. All your heart nd blood problems rest assured can not be correlated with this liver pattern.
I would suggest thorough work up to first confirm the cirrhosis and then work up to find the cause of it if any.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
