Question : please can you explain my ecg results due to horrible palpitations
Brief Answer:
These are ectopic beats
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome
This is Dr Sameer, cardiologist.
Your ECG shows some ectopic beats. These are not very frequent & therefore not very significant.
These can be because of abnormality of heart (like dilated heart) which can be diagnosed in 2D Echo.
If Echo is normal, other possible causes of ectopics are Electrolyte abnormalities.
They can also occur normally without any cause.
So, as i told you in earlier question also, if these ectopics are bothering you, we generally prescribe Tab Betaloc 25mg once a day & you will be fine.
Thanks
Take care
