Brief Answer:
a diabetic needs life long statins.

Detailed Answer:
Dear sir
As per the last guidelines published in 2013 about lipid disorder and management, a diabetic patient will require statins (cholesterol lowering drugs like rosvel) therapy life long. The dose will vary at times and will be decided as per your response. The role of other medicines like fibrates (the F component in rosvel-F, is unclear). Hence plain rosvel is indicated in all diabetics.
If the tmt and echo reports are normal and there is no existing or past cardiovascular disease like stroke, angina and peripheral or carotid artery disease, a male less than 50 years is not a candidate for ecosprin therapy.
The last medicine sodyme is not clear to me. Please write details of content of this medication.
It would be prudent and highly advisable to discuss with your physician before making any change in your medicines.
Sincerely
Sukhvinder
