Brief Answer:
The flat line on D I lead seems to be related the position of the heart.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

I understand your concern and would like to explain that this flat line on D I lead seems to be related the position of the heart.

The flat line indicates that the cardiac axis is perpendicular with this Lead (the electric activity would result as a flat line on ECG based on the calculations of the machine).

This is not an indicative sign for any cardiac disorders.

So there is nothing to worry about!

Just a normal variant of heart position!

An ECG artifact (false result from technical issues) could not be excluded. An ECG artifact would be confirmed if this line changed or didn't exist in a repeated ECG.

Hope to have been helpful!

Feel free to ask any other questions, whenever you need!

Best regards,

Dr. Iliri

Brief Answer:
It seems to be just an ECG artifact.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for the information provided.

Could you please upload your previous ECG reports for a review?

In such a case, it seems to be just an ECG artifact related to the contact of electrodes, movements, or any other mechanical causes.

So there is nothing to worry about!

Greetings!

I'm going to send previous ECG. I can't find where to attach it here. May have to send a new question with attachment.

I've uploaded.

Brief Answer:
You should repeat your ECG.

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

I reviewed carefully both your ECG reports and would conclude that your last ECG recording is not correct.

It is not just an artifact, but it is caused by limb electrode misplacement.

I recommend you to repeat your ECG.

Hope to have been helpful!

Greetings!
