Infection usually can't cause infarction, but diabetes does.
Patents with diabetes have higher cardiovascular risk. But your ECG should revise a cardiologist. Automatically generated machine reports are not always correct.
If the suspicion of infarction remains after the cardiologist's evaluation, then echocardiography should be done.
