Question : hi i have ggt reading of 143u/l is this unusual

The normal range for GGT levels is 9–48 units per liter.
Minimum three times the upper normal limit of enzymes has any clinical significance that too when patient is symptomatic
Elevated values in your case can also be suggestive of heavy drinking.
I would suggest you to go for an ultrasound of abdomen.
This test would make thing clear if in ultrasound everything is normal there is no need to worry.
